Rajgarh, 22 May (Hindustan Reporter). On Wednesday, on the complaint of the Sarpanch, the Lokayukta team formed under the guidance of Bhopal Superintendent of Police Manu Vyas caught the engineer of Janpad Panchayat posted in Sarangpur red-handed taking a bribe of Rs 20 thousand, against which action was taken under the Corruption Act.
According to the information, on May 16, village Sultania Sarpanch Jitendra Malviya lodged a complaint in the Superintendent of Police, Lokayukta office, Bhopal, through him a CC road and a cart tank were constructed in front of the crematorium in Gram Panchayat Sultania Tehsil Pachor District Rajgarh, which was evaluated by the Panchayat Department. It has been done by Engineer Govind Ahirwar, for which Engineer Govind Ahirwar asked for 67 thousand rupees at the rate of 10 percent.
On the complaint, a team formed under the guidance of Lokayukta Superintendent of Police Manu Vyas caught engineer Govind Ahirwar red-handed while accepting a bribe of 20 thousand rupees and took action under Section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act. During the action, Deputy Superintendent of Police Sanjay Shukla, Inspector Uma Kushwaha, Prar. Rajendra, R. Avadh, Sandeep Kushwaha were present.
