Bus of devotees going to Kedarnath collides with truck, two women killed, more than 15 injured

Punjab bus accident: A horrific road accident took place in Samrala near Ludhiana in Punjab. In the morning, a tourist bus full of devotees collided with a truck parked on the highway in Chahela village here. The collision was so severe that two female devotees in the bus died on the spot, while more than 15 people were injured, who are currently undergoing treatment in the hospital.

The identity of the deceased was announced

As soon as information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot. After this the injured were immediately taken to the nearest hospital. The deceased were identified as Meenakshi (51) and Sarojbala (54), natives of Indore, Madhya Pradesh.

Went on Kedarnath Yatra

Rishabh, a resident of Indore, said that we are natives of Indore and all the people who were going to Kedarnath in the bus belonged to farmer families. Everyone was going to visit Kedarnath which is included in Chardham. We had just left for Amritsar from Haridwar when the accident happened. There was screams as soon as the accident happened.
