After going to his salon, he started introducing himself as an officer of the Special Branch of Ludhiana Police.

One of the accused had a pistol and started demanding Rs 5,000 by threatening to lodge a complaint. Police station division number five reached the spot and arrested the accused Gurpreet Singh with a 32 bore pistol.
