- 1 kg soap
- 2 kg potatoes
- Green chilly
- Cumin
- Salt
How to Make Soapberry Wafers
- Wash the soap grains thoroughly and soak them overnight.
- – Wash the potatoes, add water and salt in the cooker and boil them.
- – Now make green chilli paste in a mixer jar.
- When the potatoes are cooked, peel them and put them in the pan.
- – Now heat water in a big pan. Heat half the quantity of soap water on gas.
- Then add chilli paste in it. Then add cumin and salt to it.
- – Now when the water boils, add soap grains in it. Then keep stirring it until it is cooked. Keep adding water as required. – Then turn off the gas.
- – Now add mashed potatoes into it. Then mix well.

- Remove the wafer using the wafer removal tool. You can also use plastic bags. You can remove it by making a small hole in one corner.
- Now let this wafer dry overnight. – Then add oil to it for frying and fry it. Your soapberry wafer is ready.
