CM Saini and Dr. Poonia honored the players with Haryana Khel Gaurav Award

Chandigarh, May 21 (HS). Haryana Chief Minister Naib Saini honored players who won medals at national and international levels in Rohtak on Tuesday. Haryana Lok Sabha election in-charge Satish Poonia was also present on this occasion.

Here Chief Minister Naib Saini said that it is a privilege for me to honor and communicate with the players who have raised the head of Mother India all over the world. On this occasion, Mr. Saini said that 50 percent of the medals won by the country in sports at the national and international level have been won by players from Haryana. Haryana Government has made such a sports policy for the youth, due to which players from village to national level are showing their skills and winning medals in sports.

CM Nayab Saini said that PM Narendra Modi is planning to organize Olympic Games in India in 2036. This will further strengthen the players of the state. CM Saini said in the Haryana Khel Gaurav Award program that the government gives cash awards ranging from Rs 4.50 crore to Rs 6 crore along with jobs to the players who win medals in the Olympics and Para Olympics. The Chief Minister said that the government will do even better for the players in future.

Haryana's players are 'unique': Dr. Satish Poonia

At the Haryana Khel Gaurav Award ceremony organized in Rohtak, Haryana BJP's Lok Sabha election in-charge Dr. Satish Poonia said on Tuesday that the players of Haryana are the pride of the state. This is the strength of Haryana. After the soldiers, players are the second pride in the country. Today the pride of the state is sitting here in front of us. These players have brought glory to Haryana in the world and have brought glory to the tricolor of the country. All these players are amazing people.
