Ranchi, May 21 (HS). One day state mourning will be observed in Jharkhand today (Tuesday) on the death of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi. Regarding this, Joint Secretary of Jharkhand Government, Akhilesh Kumar Sinha has written a letter to all the Divisional Commissioners, all DCs, and SSPs and SPs of all the districts. The letter written states that the President of Iran died in a helicopter crash.
In this regard, the Government of India has decided to observe one-day state mourning on Tuesday. The Home Ministry, Government of India has also issued an order related to this. In such a situation, on May 21, the national flag will be flown at half mast in all those buildings of Jharkhand where the national flag is hoisted regularly. Also, no government function will be organised.
