Jabalpur: Joint team of officials inspected private hospital and hotel

Jabalpur, 20 May (HS). Under the leadership of administration and police officers, the district administration has ensured compliance of regulatory rules in commercial and industrial units, hotels, restaurants, private hospitals and nursing homes, medical stores, ration shops, agricultural input sellers and petrol pumps and cooking gas distribution agencies. According to the roster of the seven investigation teams formed, on Monday a joint team of officers led by SDM Pankaj Mishra and CSP HR Pandey inspected Sule Hospital and Crystal Hotel, along with vegetable and grocery shops and medical stores. Instructions were given to the hospital and hotel operators to remove the deficiencies found during the inspection.

SDM Pankaj Mishra said that during the inspection, the investigation team checked and inspected documents at all the designated points of Sule Hospital. Along with this, FSSAI registration and licenses of vegetable vendors, grocery shops and medical stores located in the vegetable market around Sule Nursing Home were checked.

SDM said that the investigation team took samples of cheese, Madras curry powder and pasta from Crystal Restaurant located at Bandaria Tiraha, Jabalpur in front of Hawa Bagh Church for testing. Which will be sent to the State Food Testing Laboratory, Bhopal. He said that due to non-availability of documents like health certificate of food handlers, pest control certificate, non-display of food safety display board, certificate of food safety supervisor etc., an improvement notice will also be issued to the operator of Crystal Restaurant.

According to SDM Aadhartal, the investigation regarding disposal of waste material in the hospital and hotel was done under the direction of the Pollution Control Officer. The salary etc. of the employees working in the organization was checked under the direction of the Labor Officer. Fire safety and electrical system were also checked.

Deep Medical Shop located near Sule Hospital was also inspected by the investigation team. During the proceedings, the vegetable shops were organized by the Municipal Corporation team. The scales and weighing machines available in the shops were checked by the officers of the Weights and Measures Department.

Let us tell you that Collector Deepak Saxena and Superintendent of Police Aditya Pratap Singh, with the aim of following the regulatory rules and improving the systems in the public interest, all types of commercial establishments including hotels, restaurants, private hospitals, petrol pumps, cooking gas agencies, various institutions. Seven investigation teams have been formed under the leadership of SDM and police officers to investigate industrial units. Officers from all concerned departments have been included in the investigation teams and a roster has been fixed for seven days of the week.
