Ranchi, May 20 (HS). Jharkhand Council of Educational Research and Training will organize State Level Yoga Olympiad on May 21 in Ranchi. It will include 96 participants selected in the age groups of 10-14 and 14-16 from each district of the state. This Olympiad will be organized from 8 am. Participants from every district of the state have reached Ranchi today to participate in the state level competition.
In this, one boy and one girl selected from each district got first position from upper primary, middle schools (10-14 age group) and one boy and one girl selected from high schools (14-16 age group) got first position. That means a total of four students will participate.
State Education Project Director Aditya Ranjan said on Monday that a total of 16 winning participants of both the age groups of the State Level Yoga Olympiad will get a chance to represent the state by participating in the National Yoga Olympiad to be held in New Delhi on June 21.
It is noteworthy that NCERT, New Delhi will organize the National Yoga Olympiad from June 18 to 21 on International Yoga Day, in which four boys and four girls selected from upper primary, middle schools (age group 10-14) of the state, besides high schools ( Four boys and four girls selected from the age group of 14 to 16 will participate.
