Kokrajhar (Assam), 18 May (HIST). The 61st Bodo Medium Day was celebrated today (Saturday) at the UN Academy campus, a prominent Bodo medium school in Kokrajhar city. Today is Bodo Medium Day. Bodo medium education started on 18th May in 1963.
Thus every year 18th May is celebrated as Bodo Medium Day.
Participating in the program as the chief guest, BTC chief Pramod Bodo paid tribute to those who sacrificed their precious lives for the Bodo medium.
He said that many students of Bodo medium have been able to perform better. On this occasion, Pramod Bodo said that it is a great pleasure to honor the meritorious students of UN Academy, Kokrajhar in the felicitation ceremony organized today. Bright students have passed HSLC and HSSLC examination in Bodo medium with good marks this year.
He extended his blessings and best wishes to all of them for their bright academic future. Pramod Bodo said that despite being plagued with problems, the Bodo society has reached a high position today by struggling.
