The challenge of eating spicy wafers was too big
According to the report, Harris died on September 1, 2023. A chips manufacturing company launched a Tangy Wafer eating challenge, in which Harris participated and died from eating too many Tangy Wafers. Some information has come to light from his postmortem report. In which it is said that firstly the wafer was very spicy and secondly the boy was suffering from heart disease since birth. He died due to these two reasons.
Death due to capsaicin overdose
In this case, the medical examiner says, 'The autopsy revealed that Harris died of cardiopulmonary arrest. Consuming large amounts of food containing capsaicin increased his body heat. Due to which he suffered cardiopulmonary arrest.
Capsaicin makes chilies spicy. Which affects the blood flow in the body. So the heart beats faster. According to cardiologists, high doses of capsaicin can increase pressure in the heart, which also increases pressure on the arteries and can lead to attack. After this incident, now even people with heart problems are worried about eating spicy chips.
