Kulcha Recipe: Nowadays Chole-Kulcha has also taken place in the street food of Ahmedabad. Many Ahmedabadites are opting for Chole-Kulcha for lunch. Today Gujarati Jagran will tell you the recipe of making Kulcha at home like Maltha Kulcha of the market.

Ingredients for making Kulcha

  • 2 cups flour,
  • 1/2 cup curd,
  • 1 teaspoon sugar,
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda,
  • 2-3 tbsp oil,
  • black mole,
  • Coriander,
  • Water

how to make kulcha

Phase 1
Combine flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, 2-3 tbsp oil and curd in a bowl and mix well.

Step-2
Now knead the dough by adding water as required, apply some oil and keep it to set for 1 hour.

Step- 3 –
Now make a ball of dough, wrap it in dry fenugreek flour and roll it into a round shaped kulcha.

Step-4
Garnish the kulcha with some black sesame seeds and coriander leaves and roll it again.

Step-5 –
Now place the kulcha on an iron pan and cook until it turns brown on both sides. – Now apply some butter on the kulcha and serve.
