Fatehabad, 17 May (Hindustan Reporter) Air Commodore Saji Jacob, Inspection Officer, Sainik School Society, Ministry of Defence, Government of India, inspected Sainik School Khara Khedi on Friday. On reaching the school, he was welcomed by Director Dr. Jyotsna, Colonel DV Nehra Commandant, Dr. RA Prabhakar Principal and School Administrator Vikramaditya Singh.
After introduction to the staff, the IO inaugurated the obstacle course and planted a sapling in the campus. He was briefed about various activities organized in the school since the acceptance of the new Sainik School on the campus by the Commandant. Later, he inspected the classes and interacted with the cadets. He also inspected various laboratories, library and hostels. In the ATL laboratory he saw the innovative model Divyang Sathi foldable stick prepared by Cadet Vedant Pant and congratulated the cadet for his innovation. Commodore Jacob appreciated Cadets Aryan Sinha and Vismay Jangid who made the school campus model. He then addressed the cadets and inspired them to make best use of the facilities available in the school. He asked the cadets to give their 100 per cent efforts to achieve their goal of joining the Defense Forces as officers.
Later he had lunch with the cadets in the cadets mess. Before returning from the school, he interacted with the school management and appreciated their efforts in providing quality Sainik School like education to the cadets. He appreciated the management for providing excellent academic and outdoor facilities to the cadets for their all-round development. Chairman Dr. Yudhveer Singh expressed happiness over the successful conduct of the Annual Inspection and thanked the staff and cadets for their best efforts.
