New Delhi: Suzuki has launched a new Heritage Edition of Jimny in Australia and Suzuki will sell only 500 units of it. Its special thing is that it is now based on the 5-door version which is also available for sale in the Indian market.

In Australia the 5-door Jimny is called XL. This is not the first time that Suzuki has launched a heritage edition of the Jimny. Also in 2023, the manufacturer introduced a Heritage Edition for the 3-door Jimny and it was limited to only 300 units and it sold out in just two days.
what is special about it?
Suzuki has made some cosmetic changes to the Jimny Heritage Edition. It comes with new decals on the side and rear and red colored mudflaps both front and rear. Apart from this, the 4×4 SUV will also come with a special cargo tray. Suzuki will offer the Jimny Heritage Edition in White, Chiffon Ivory Blush Black Pearl, Jungle Green, Blush Black Pearl and Granite Gray Metallic color schemes.

The SUV is powered by a 1.2-litre K-series petrol engine that produces 99 bhp of maximum power and a peak torque output of 130 Nm. It comes only with a 5-speed manual gearbox. However, the standard version of the Jimny is also offered with a 4-speed torque converter automatic transmission. Suzuki offers its AllGrip 4×4 system as standard on the Jimny.
