Air India plane accident during takeoff, DGCA starts investigation |Live Updates,Unveiling the Latest India News Trends

An Air India plane going to Delhi crashed at Pune airport. Actually the plane was moving towards the runway for take-off but at the same time it collided with a tug tractor. There were about 180 passengers on board the plane. This incident happened on Thursday i.e. tomorrow 16th May. After the accident, the passengers were immediately taken off the plane.

Passengers were given the facility of second flight

According to airport officials, passengers were given the facility of another flight. According to the information, the passengers have been refunded their full fare and have been offered an alternative flight. People with international connections were sent to Delhi in other vehicles so that they could catch another flight from there. The spokesperson also said that an investigation into the incident has been started.

DGC started investigation

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has started an investigation to find out the cause of the collision. According to initial reports, a tug truck used to ground the flight hit the plane. The DGCA investigation will focus on operational protocols and related lapses to find out what led to the incident. Airport operations continued without any disruption following the accident. However, the damaged aircraft was taken out briefly for inspection and repairs and is now fully operational.

However, the company promised to provide refunds or other flight facilities to the passengers. Besides, action was also taken by the company against many employees who took leave together. After which other employees became angry and raised questions on the mismanagement of the company and went on strike. Due to this one incident the company had to suffer a loss of crores of rupees in revenue.
