Navjot Sidhu reached Rajindra Hospital for treatment of his wife, took advice from doctors for radiation therapy.

Patiala: Former Punjab Congress President and famous cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu, his wife Dr. Navjot Kaur Sidhu's treatment has started from Government Rajindra Hospital. In this regard, Sidhu, while sharing information on the internet media, said that on Thursday he went to Government Rajindra Hospital for radiation therapy of his wife and took advice from specialist doctors. He said that his wife will start radiation because there is a half-inch wound which will heal in a week.

He said the state-of-the-art 'True Beam' co-version machine which was available at Sloan Kettering Institute Manhattan in 2015 was made available at Rajindra Hospital since 2017 under an agreement with Tata Memorial Institute. It is heartening to see that this state-of-the-art machine has become available free of cost to the general public at Rajindra Hospital and Amritsar also. He said that Dr. Raja Banipal, Dr. Anshumal Bansal and Dr. Services of Vinod Dangwal have been taken, who has said that the half inch deep wound will heal in a week and after that the radiation will start.

Let us tell you that Navjot Kaur Sidhu has been suffering from cancer for a long time and was undergoing treatment in a hospital in Kurukshetra, Haryana, where she was operated on on April 5.
