Police checked CM Shinde's bag after landing from the helicopter in Nashik.

Mumbai: Only two days are left for the last phase of campaigning for the Lok Sabha elections in Maharashtra to begin. Today, as soon as Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde landed in his helicopter in Nashik, the Election Investigation Officer and the police checked his bag.

Two-three days ago, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut had accused Prime Minister Shinde of flying money bags from the helicopter. Then like today, as soon as Shinde got down from the helicopter, the investigation team present there checked the Chief Minister's bag. However, only things like clothes and medicines were found in Shinde's bag.

After checking the Chief Minister's bag, he told the media that I always carry a bag which contains my clothes and other important items.

Why was Shin's bag not checked before Ramayan when he had landed in the helicopter with Masmoti's bag and now the bags of the accused have been checked. This is nothing but a kind of trick. Opposition leader Ambas Anve alleged that this was just a stunt and was done for show.

Danve said that there is a rule to conduct such checks at airports or even in private planes during elections, from which the Prime Minister of the country or the Chief Minister of any state has not been excluded and hence their bags too. There should be an investigation. There should be an investigation, Danway said.

Two-three days ago, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde was seen alighting from a helicopter with a heavy bag and a suitcase. After this Raut alleged that even the police personnel were having difficulty in lifting the bag, so what was kept in the bag? Masmoti also said that he will soon bring out the video of which hotel these bags went to and where the money kept in them was distributed.

The Chief Minister came to Nashik only for two hours. So what was in his bag? Had he brought 500 suits or 500 safari suits in this bag, Raut also asked.
