IRCTC Shri Ramayana Yatra: There is good news for Ram devotees. IRCTC has launched a tour package of 18 days and 17 nights, in which devotees will get a chance to visit places and temples associated with Lord Ram. This train is being run in the name of Shri Ramayana Yatra, which will leave from Safdarjung Railway Station of Delhi on June 7. This yatra has been organized earlier also for the devotees.

Devotees will set out on a journey of 18 days

For Ram devotees, this Shri Ramayana Yatra is going to last for a total of 18 days and 17 nights, in which many important places related to the life of Lord Ram will be visited. The first stop of the yatra will be Ayodhya, the birthplace of Shri Ram, where Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, Shri Hanumangarhi Temple and Bharat Temple in Nandigram will be visited. Starting from Ayodhya, this train will go to Sitamarhi, where the birthplace of Janaki and the Ram-Janaki temple located in Janakpur, Nepal can be visited. After this, we will also visit Ramrekha Ghat and Rameshwarnath Temple in Buxar. The next stop of the train will be Varanasi, the city of Lord Shiva, from where passengers will travel by buses to the famous temples including Sita Samhit Sthal, Prayag, Shringaverpur and Chitrakoot.

Rameshwaram will be the last stop

After Chitrakoot, this train will reach Nashik, where passengers will be able to visit Panchavati and Trimbakeshwar temples. After Nashik, the ancient Kishkindha city of Hampi will be the next stop of this train, where the birthplace of Shri Hanuman located at Anjani Parvat and other important religious and heritage temples will be visited. The last stop of this train will be Rameshwaram. Here Ram devotees will be able to visit the ancient Shiva temple and Dhanushkodi.

  • In this Ramayana Yatra, the pilgrims are going to travel about 7600 kilometers. For which they may have to spend Rs 96 thousand to Rs 1.66 lakh per person.
  • AC first class coupe fare will be Rs 1,66,810, AC first class cabin fare will be Rs 1,45,745, AC second class fare will be Rs 1,34,710 and AC third class fare will be Rs 1,34,710. Rs 96,575 will have to be paid.
