Mamata Banerjee and people of Indi alliance want a weak government at the Centre: Nadda

Kolkata, May 15 (HS). BJP President J.P. Nadda on Wednesday said West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and her “friends” in the opposition Indi faction want a “weak government” at the Center to “pamper” the infiltrators.

Nadda said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we are running a “strong government” but Mamata Banerjee and her allies always want a “weak government”. She is compromising with illegal infiltrators. She is adopting a soft stance on terrorists. It is giving shelter and protection to those who harbor terrorists. Under the leadership of PM Modi, we are giving a tough challenge to the terrorists. Tell me whether you want a weak government at the center or a strong government. Nadda said that earlier weak rulers used to talk to terrorist organizations in Jammu and Kashmir.

The BJP President said that under the leadership of the Prime Minister, our government has eliminated terrorism from Kashmir by abolishing Article 370. He said that corruption always happens in a weak government. Nadda said that in a weak government, currencies worth crores are recovered from the residences of ministers.

Nadda said Trinamool Congress leaders were depriving genuine beneficiaries of benefits under several centrally sponsored schemes. He asked that my question to all of you is whether you will allow such a corrupt government to continue.
