Jagdalpur, May 15 (Hindustan Reporter) Parpa police station of the district got information from the informer that some people were gambling with Ludo Goti in village Ransargipal. On information, a team was formed under the leadership of police station in-charge Parpa Dilbagh Singh and sent for action. The said team visited village Ransargipal Jatra fair where some people were gambling with Ludo Goti, arrested Samdev Maurya and Trinath Kashyap and recovered from the possession of the accused a plastic curtain with numbers written on it, 1 piece of plastic mug, 2 pieces of Ludo. Goti and total Jumla cash amounting to Rs 12,070 were seized.
This act of the accused is a crime under Section 3 (2) Ch.G. Gambling (Prohibition) Act. 2022 was found and after taking action against both the accused arrested, they were sent on remand today on Wednesday.
