Reliance Jio has made a special announcement for the devotees going on Chardham Yatra. Jio has now announced to provide 5G connectivity facility on the entire route to ease the journey of pilgrims visiting Chardham i.e. Kedarnath, Badrinath, Yamunotri and Gangotri.
Last year 5G network was given in temples
Jio has completed all preparations for this. Let us tell you that Jio had made 5G network available during the Chardham Yatra last year and was the first telecom company to do so. According to the company, Jio True 5G network will be available to Chardham pilgrims at every Dham. Additionally, Jio's 5G network will also be available on the road from one destination to another. This also includes inaccessible areas like Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Gopeshwar, Devprayag, Haridwar, Rishikesh and Srinagar.
Jio has installed more towers
Jio has made its network quite good in these areas within a year. Apart from this, according to the company, Jio has installed more 4G and 5G towers on the route of Chardham Yatra than other operators. The company further said that Jio has only 700 MHz band, which is capable of providing a good 5G network.

Jio says that devotees visiting Chardham Kedarnath, Badrinath, Yamunotri and Gangotri will now be able to take advantage of Jio 5G network without any hassle. It is noteworthy that last year the company had launched 5G network in all the temple premises in 2023.
