Khemkaran: A case of setting fire to fields near the Pakistan border has come to light in Tarn Taran district. It is being told that this fire reached the India-Pakistan border and after a lot of effort the fire could be controlled. On the other hand, on the complaint of BSF officers in the above matter, Khemkaran police station has registered a case against two farmers and arrested them.

Company Commander of 101 battalion of BSF, Nand Lal Yadav, handed over Harbhajan Singh son of Milkha Singh resident of Manawan and Rajeev Kumar son of Mahavir Sharma resident of Khemkaran to the police and complained that Harbhajan Singh set fire to his wheat field near BO Harbhajan. And Rajiv Kumar Sharma has burnt grains in the fields near BOP KK barrier. This fire grew rapidly and reached the border of India and Pakistan and the fire could be controlled with great difficulty. ASI Jagdish Raj, who is investigating the case, said that a case has been registered against Harbhajan Singh and Rajeev Kumar for violating the orders of the District Magistrate by taking them into custody and further investigation is going on.
