Kolkata, May 13 (Hindustan Reporter) West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Monday claimed that the India Bloc will win at least 315 seats, while the BJP will win a maximum of 195 seats. He said that Narendra Modi will not become Prime Minister again, so he should not boast of 400 seats now.
Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said these things at an election rally in Bangaon Lok Sabha constituency of North 24 Parganas district on Monday. He said that people of Matua community will have to fill an application under the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) to get citizenship, but as soon as they fill the form, they will come to know that they are foreigners. Mamata said that if the Prime Minister loves the Matuas so much, then he should provide them citizenship without asking them to fill the CAA form. We are committed to stop the implementation of CAA at any cost. If they want to do this, they will have to do it through my dead body.
He also accused the BJP of spending crores of rupees to malign the image of West Bengal by creating unrest in Sandeshkhali. The Chief Minister said that he was insulting the women of Sandeshkhali. He also mocked the Prime Minister's five-point guarantee at an election rally in Barrackpore. The Chief Minister said that such guarantees are baseless as they will never be fulfilled.
