Now two bottles of 500 ml each will be available in Vande Bharat train

Prayagraj, 13 May (HS). Railways has now decided to provide two water bottles of 500-500 ml to each passenger in all Vande Bharat trains instead of the one liter bottle provided at the start of the journey. This decision has been taken with the aim of saving pure drinking water.

Giving this information, Public Relations Officer Amit Kumar Singh said that Indian Railways is also committed to saving water. It is often seen that the one liter water bottle provided to the passenger was not fully utilized by most of the passengers. Due to which the remaining water was wasted. This new initiative has curbed wastage of drinking water and is also making maximum use of the available resource. A second water bottle of 500 ml can be demanded by the passenger as per requirement. Through this initiative, thousands of liters of pure drinking water is being saved by Indian Railways.
