East Champaran, 13 May (H.I.S.). Preparations for Lichipuram festival are in full swing in the district. In this series, a meeting of the organizing committee was held on Monday at the residence of the patron of the committee, Satyadev Rai Arya. It was decided that the Lichipuram Utsav Committee would honor the farmers producing excellent litchi. For this, a function will be organized before the program and an exhibition of litchi of farmers will be organized. After this they will be selected.
In the committee meeting, it was decided that all the public representatives of the district should be invited and if anyone is doing better work in the field of social service, then he should also be honored on the stage. The committee members seriously considered that there are some difficulties due to the Lok Sabha elections but everyone will face them unitedly and organize a top class program. This time Lichipuram Utsav is being organized after the election results, hence administrative officials of the district will be invited.
On this occasion, it was decided to immediately distribute the departments related to the program among the members.
