Congress supported the Chief Minister's proposal with some suggestions.

On Wednesday, a motion of gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi was passed in the Haryana Assembly, terming the consecration of Ram Lalla in the temple in Ayodhya as a historic step. This proposal was presented by Chief Minister Manohar Lal. This government resolution was supported by Congress MLAs with some suggestions. After this, slogans of Jai Shri Ram were raised inside the House by BJP and Congress.
Chief Minister Manohar Lal, while reading a resolution during Zero Hour in the Assembly, said that on January 22, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has consecrated the idol of child-like Lord Shri Ram in Ayodhya. This opportunity has come after a long wait of about 550 years. Due to the sacrifice and tenacity of lakhs of ancestors, the countrymen have got the opportunity to see this day. This has been possible due to the determination and willpower of Prime Minister Modi. Therefore, the entire House should especially thank Prime Minister Modi for the construction of the grand temple. Manohar Lal said that the Prime Minister has resolved to make India like it was during the time of Lord Shri Ram.
In the House, former Chief Minister Bhupendra Singh Hooda supported this proposal of Chief Minister Manohar Lal, but also said that Ram is neither yours nor mine, Ram is everyone's. The permission to open the doors of Ram temple in Ayodhya was given by the then Prime Minister Late. Rajiv Gandhi gave it. Therefore, Rajiv Gandhi and the judges who gave the Supreme Court verdict should also be mentioned in the government resolution. On this, former speaker Dr. Raghbir Kadian said that this proposal only mentions religion, hence the importance of karma should also be included in it. When MLA Neeraj Sharma, while reciting several verses one after the other in the House, said that the government should fulfill its words and promises, the Speaker stopped him from speaking.
While giving advice to the Congress members, JJP MLA Ramkumar Gautam said that the wounds of the enemy should also be appreciated. There is nothing wrong in this. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has done a good job. Congress MLA Kiran Choudhary, supporting Hooda's point, said that the doors of Ram temple were closed by Late. It was opened by Rajiv Gandhi. Independent MLA Balraj Kundu stressed the need for Ram Raj in the state as per the Chief Minister's resolution letter. Congress MLA Chiranjeev Rao supported the proposal, while BJP MLA Aseem Goyal again created an uproar in the House when he talked about Congress's support in the process of demolishing Ram Sethu. JJP MLA Ishwar Singh lauded the central government's decision to name the airport in Ayodhya after Lord Valmiki. After a long discussion, the proposal was passed unanimously in the Assembly.
