The doors of Badrinath Dham are open for the devotees on the holy day of Akhatriya. Here, as soon as the curtain opened, devotees were seen cheering.
On the day of Akhatri, the doors of the temple were opened for the devotees at six in the morning. Before opening the doors, puja was done with complete Vedic mantras. The doors of Badrinath were opened for the devotees amidst the music of the army band.
Shri Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee completed all the preparations and decorated the temple grandly with 15 quintals of flowers.
Let us tell you that more than 5000 devotees have reached Badrinath Dham for the worship of Badrinath. There is deep enthusiasm among the devotees regarding the Chardham Yatra.

This Dham is situated on the banks of Alaknanda River in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. This temple is also mentioned in the Puranas. This temple is dedicated to Vishnu i.e. Badri Vishal.
