Rajouri, May 12 (Hindustan Reporter) Former minister and NC candidate from Anantnag-Rajouri parliamentary constituency Mian Altaf Ahmed on Sunday said that the National Conference was formed to provide justice to the poor, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and other deprived sections of the society. No one can deny the track record of this tribal party of Jammu and Kashmir that it has always been steadfast in providing assistance to the needy.
The NC leader was addressing a public meeting at Dhangri in Rajouri district here. JKNC Jammu Provincial President Ratan Lal Gupta, Chaudhary Liaquat, DDC Chairman Rajouri Naseem Liaquat, Manzoor Malik, DDC Dhangri were present in the meeting. Rameshwar Singh, Vijay Lochan, Rakesh Singh Raka, Dheeraj Sharma and Joginder Singh were present.
Mian Altaf Ahmed clearly said that National Conference is the party of the poor, weaker sections, farmers and deprived sections of the society which has always stood for their rights and interests. He said that people have understood well by now that no other party can ensure their welfare like the National Conference and hence the NC wave is being seen not only in Anantnag-Rajouri parliamentary constituency but in the entire Jammu and Kashmir. Due to which there is uneasiness among its opponents.
Minya Altaf said that these days the people at the top are indifferent towards the poor section of the society because under their rule inflation is touching its peak, jobs have disappeared, there is no policy for the youth, handful of recruitment processes and corruption. The industry is on crutches and the peace that those in power are trumpeting from every platform is also in danger as the graph of terrorism has again increased especially in Poonch, Rajouri and other districts of Jammu region.
JKNC provincial president Ratan Lal Gupta said that the tiller's land brought by Sher-e-Kashmir Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah is a testament to the fact that his party truly believes in philanthropy and is doing everything possible to ensure justice to the Dalit society.
