Jodhpur, 21 February (HS). Police today disclosed and arrested one accused in the murder case of auto driver Harish Panwar, resident of Kudi Bhagatasani, on Monday night while going to Sajada Dham of Luni tehsil. Two more named people are being searched.
ACP West Narendra Dayma said that one of the accused in the case, Bhawani Singh, son of Bhik Singh, resident of Dangiawas, has been arrested. The car used in the crime has been confiscated. During his interrogation, names of two more accused were revealed who are being searched.
It should be noted that on Monday night, Kudi resident Harish Panwar, son of Suresh Panwar was going towards Sajada Dham with Mumbai resident Sunil Gupta. Then, some time before the Khejarli station, the riders in the bike and car together pelted him with stones. Sunil also got injured in this. On Tuesday, auto drivers staged a protest and took out a rally regarding this incident and submitted a memorandum to the District Collector. With two demands being agreed to, the body was handed over to the family after post-mortem was done by the medical board late in the night.
