He said that most of the inventions of mathematics took place in our country but here mathematics is not given as much importance as it is in countries like America. It is not important to do engineering but what matters more is how great a mathematician you emerge as.
He said that you can memorize history but you cannot memorize mathematics. It has to be understood and solved. Mathematics is the only subject in which full marks can be obtained. There have been many great mathematicians in our country who have brought glory to the country. The great mathematicians of this country had calculated and told the distance between the Earth and the Sun years ago. The children here are smarter in mathematics than those in other countries. The situation in America is such that children there cannot do even small calculations without a calculator.
