A single judge bench of Justice Gurpal Singh Ahluwalia of Madhya Pradesh High Court has issued notice on the plea of lawyer Christopher Anthony to register a case against Kareena and the book sellers. The main reason for sending the notice to the actress is that the court has sought an answer from the actress regarding the reason for using the word 'Bible' in the book. The court has also issued a notice to the publishers after the petitioner demanded a ban on the sale of the book.
Christopher Anthony, a social worker from Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, says that the sentiments of the Christian community are being hurt by the use of the word 'Bible' in the title of the book. The person who filed the petition said, “The Bible is the holy book of Christianity across the world and it is wrong to compare Kareena Kapoor Khan's pregnancy with the Bible.” Kareena had earlier also objected to the use of the word 'Bible'. The petitioner had earlier approached the police to lodge an FIR against Kareena, but the police refused. After this the person filed a petition in the lower court, but it was rejected. Now the High Court has sought answers from Kareena.
