Palwal, 21 February (HS). The team of Haryana State Narcotics Control Bureau conducted a raid in Palwal and arrested two youths smuggling drug injections near Hathin Mor on Wednesday. The team has also recovered 75 intoxicating (banned) injections from their possession. The city police station has registered a case against the accused and started investigation.
According to the information, the team received information from the informer that two youths were standing in a street in Gorilla Mohalla Palwal and selling intoxicating injections. Considering the informer's information as correct, the team immediately raided the spot. When raided, two youths standing there, seeing the police team, started moving forward fast. His team took both the youth into custody.
After taking them into custody, the accused youth were searched and 75 intoxicating injections were recovered from them. During interrogation, the accused revealed their names and addresses as Pradeep alias Lal, resident of Panchavati Colony and Anil alias Kallu, resident of Gourilla Mohalla. Investigating officer Mahendra said that the investigation so far has revealed that both the youths were doing illegal drug business for a long time and are also addicted to taking intoxicating injections.
While giving information on Wednesday, investigating officer Mahendra Singh said that the accused will be produced in the court and taken on remand, so that it can be found out how many more people are involved with them. From where the accused buy the injections and where they supply them, the police will soon expose the entire network of the accused.
