Bhopal, 11 May (HS). Madhya Pradesh High Court has issued a notice to film actress Kareena Kapoor Khan. The matter is regarding the title of the book written by Kareena Kapoor during pregnancy. Christian society has demanded registration of a criminal case alleging that the book 'Kareena Kapoor Pregnancy Bible' has hurt religious sentiments. A single bench of Justice GS Ahluwalia has also sought response from Aditi Shah Bhimjiani, co-author of the book 'Kareena Kapoor Khan Pregnancy Bible', Amazon India and Juggernaut Books. The next hearing in the case will be on July 1.
In fact, Christopher Anthony, a resident of Civil Lines, Jabalpur, had filed a petition against Kareena Kapoor regarding the book in the Jabalpur bench of the Madhya Pradesh High Court in the year 2022, the first hearing on which was held in August 2022, when the High Court also asked the state government to Was asked to form a party. Later the matter cooled down a bit. The hearing was held on May 10 after Anthony submitted his memorandum in the court. It has been argued in the petition that adding Bible to the name hurt the sentiments of people of Christian religion.
Anthony says that the Bible is the religious text of Christianity. The description of the teachings of Lord Jesus is found in this holy book. The use of Bible in Kareena's book is hurtful. It has also been said that Kareena Kapoor Khan has written this book with the intention of gaining cheap popularity, the cover page of which is also objectionable.
