FIR against Wadettiwar, Bawankule and Sanjay Raut

Mumbai: Amidst the heat of the Lok Sabha election campaign, Congress leader Vijay Wadettiwar, Maharashtra BJP President Chandrashekhar Bawankule and Uddhav Group leader Sanjay Raut may have to face legal action for alleged violation of the code of conduct. In the FIR registered against him, he is accused of making controversial statements during the campaign. Congress's Wadettiwar was accused of calling Ujjwal Nikam a traitor, BJP's Bawankule published an advertisement saying that Congress's victory would be celebrated in Pakistan and Sanjay Raut compared the Prime Minister with Aurangzeb.

Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Vijay Wadettiwar gave a controversial statement saying that during the 26-11 terrorist attack in Mumbai, the then ATS jawan Hemant Karak was martyred not by the bullet of terrorist Kasab but by the bullet of the police associated with him. RSS. He called BJP candidate and then special prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam a traitor for hiding this fact.

On the other hand, Maharashtra BJP president Chandrakant Bawankule has been accused of publishing an advertisement in Thane which said that if the opposition leader wins, there will be celebrations in neighboring countries.

Apart from this, BJP also filed an FIR against Shiv Sena (Uddhav faction) leader Sanjay Raut accusing him of threatening to kill Prime Minister Narendra Modi and making statements creating communal tension and complained to the Election Commission. At a rally in Ahmednagar, Raut compared the Prime Minister and Aurangzeb. BJP lodged a complaint over Raut's statement in which he had said that the Prime Minister will be buried in the soil of Maharashtra like Aurangzeb.

Let us tell you that the election atmosphere has become tense due to 54 complaints being filed against various candidates in Maharashtra.
