Khargone, May 10 (Hindustan Reporter) Distribution of voting material to the polling parties formed to conduct elections in four assembly constituencies of the district, Maheshwar, Kasrawad, Khargone and Bhagwanpura, falling under Khargone Lok Sabha constituency and two assembly constituencies, Barwah and Bhikangaon, falling under Khandwa Lok Sabha constituency, on the morning of Sunday, May 12. PG will be held from college at 05 pm.
Under the guidance of Collector and District Election Officer Karmaveer Sharma, all necessary preparations for distribution of voting material have been completed. Training was given to the nodal officers and counter in-charges for distribution of voting material on Friday in the meeting hall of the District Panchayat. During this, Chief Executive Officer of District Panchayat Akash Singh, Joint Collector Hemlata Solanki and Master Trainers Amit Sharma, Rajesh Kanungo were present.
During the training, Collector Sharma told the nodal officers and counter in-charges that the distribution of voting material will start from 05 am on May 12. Therefore, the employees appointed for distribution of voting material should reach their counter before 05 am. The distribution of voting material has to be done in such a way that the polling parties get the material easily and they do not face any kind of inconvenience. Like the distribution of voting material, there will also be arrangements for receiving the voting material after voting. There should not be any negligence in distributing voting material and receiving the material after voting.
He informed that the distribution of voting material will start from PG College Khargone from 05 am on May 12. Therefore, to get the voting material, the polling parties will have to reach the venue at 04 am in the morning. Arrangements have been made for the polling team employees to stay at Shiv Shakti Garden and Sita Mangal Bhawan, Khargone on the night of May 11. For emergency assistance at the time of distribution and receipt of voting material, two counters of the medical team are being set up and two ambulances will be kept in the PG College.
Voting material will be distributed to the polling parties of Barwah and Bhikangaon assembly constituencies under Khandwa Lok Sabha constituency from the main road side of PG College, Khargone. Whereas the voting material will be distributed to the polling parties of Maheshwar, Kasrawad, Khargone and Bhagwanpura assembly constituencies under Khargone Lok Sabha constituency, from the ground behind PG College, Khargone. Buses carrying polling parties of Barwah Assembly Constituency will leave from Gate No. 02 of PG College. Buses carrying polling parties from the remaining five assembly constituencies, Bhikangaon, Maheshwar, Kasrawad, Khargone and Bhagwanpura, will leave from the premises of Agricultural Produce Market, Khargone.
10-10 counters have been made in each assembly constituency for distribution of voting material to the polling parties. Three tables have been set up at each counter for distribution of voting material, in which EVMs will be distributed to the polling parties from one table, envelopes and other documents from the second table and other materials from the third table. After voting, when the polling parties will reach back to PG College, Khargone, there will be arrangements for returning the materials just like receiving the materials and the polling parties will have to deposit the EVMs and other materials at their designated counters only.
