It is often seen that people who are fond of traveling keep the tank of their car and bike full. But meanwhile a news has come out that now you cannot do as per your wish. In fact, the Tripura government has taken a big decision and has set a limit for carrying petrol and diesel for car and bike drivers. Keeping this in view, now petrol and diesel will be available as per the limit. Tripura government has implemented these rules from May 1.
In this regard, the state government says that only Rs 200 worth of fuel can be filled per day in a two-wheeler, whereas for a four-wheeler this limit has been set at Rs 500. The government has taken this decision in view of the difficulty in arrival of goods trains in the state and the depleting oil reserves.
Let us tell you that large scale landslides have occurred in Assam. Due to which goods trains are facing difficulty in reaching Tripura. Due to these incidents, rail traffic has been stopped, due to which the movement of trains has reduced significantly. Due to reduced rail traffic, the supply of petrol and diesel has reduced. Due to which the government has decided to impose some restrictions on the sale of petrol and diesel from May 1 till further orders.
