Indore: Congress took out a rally for NOTA, hundreds of workers gathered

Indore, May 9 (HS). Voting for Lok Sabha elections is to be held in Indore on May 13. Congress candidate from here, Akshay Kanti Bam, withdrew his nomination just before the elections and joined BJP. Congress is now demanding to vote on NOTA. Due to this, Congress had also put up posters to promote NOTA. On Wednesday, BJP councilor Sandhya Yadav got NOTA posters removed, against which Congress took out a huge rally on Thursday evening. He has appealed to the public to vote for NOTA.

Congress took out a rally from Pardeshipura to Patnipura in the assembly constituency of Ramesh Mendola, close to BJP MLA and Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya, on Thursday evening in support of NOTA. Hundreds of Congress workers including former minister Sajjan Verma, woman leader Shobha Ojha, city Congress president Surjit Chaddha participated in the rally. In this rally organized under the banner of Save Democracy Committee, an appeal was made to vote in support of NOTA. In this, Congress workers participated in the rally carrying banners and posters of NOTA.
