According to reports, Tata Group's low-cost airline Air India Express has decided to cancel 40 daily flights till May 13. The company said in its update that 74 of its flights have been canceled on Thursday due to the latest crisis.
The company further said that it is operating 292 flights. It will have to take help from Air India in operating flights on 20 routes.

Both Air India and Air India Express are now part of the Tata Group. While Air India operates standard domestic and international flights. In such a situation, Air India's focus is on low-cost aviation services.
Earlier in the morning, ANI had reported that Air India Express has fired 25 cabin crew members. Some reports are claiming that 30 people have been evacuated. It is being told that the employees who have been fired are among the hundreds of employees who suddenly went on sick leave on Wednesday.

The entire crisis of Air India Express started on Wednesday, when around 300 of its employees went on leave before duty. It is being said that after applying for sick leave, most of them switched off their phones. The company dismissed 25-30 people for not reporting for duty and causing trouble to passengers due to misbehavior.
