Arjun Munda's statement amid tension on Shambhu border, we are ready for talks

Preparations are in full swing to march towards Delhi on the ninth day of the farmers' protest. Hundreds of protesters are deployed at Shambhu border. The government has appealed to the farmers for peace and invited talks. This will be the fifth round of meeting between farmers and the Centre. Union Agriculture Minister Arjun Munda posted on Twitter that after the fourth round, the government will discuss all the issues like Minimum Support Price (MSP), crop diversification, stubble issue and FIRs in the fifth round. Ready to talk. The Agriculture Minister said that I am inviting the farmer leaders for discussion again. It is important for us to maintain peace.

Administration called farmer organizations for talks

Patiala administration has called farmer organizations for talks. Talks have started with administration officials and farmer leaders. Patiala Commissioner DS Mangat, Deputy Commissioner Shaukat Ahmed, DIG Harcharan Singh Bhullar, SSP Varun Sharma are included from the administration side. Whereas farmer leaders include Jagjit Singh Dallewal, Sarwan Singh Pandher, Ramandeep Singh etc.

Farmer leader Surjit Phool said that the government has invited him for talks

Farmer leader Surjit Phool, present at the protest site, said that the government has invited him for talks. Does the government want to talk just for the sake of talking? Wants to talk to waste time. We have told them that Prime Minister Narendra Modi or Home Minister Amit Shah should issue a statement from their X handle that we are ready to accept all the demands including making MSP law on all crops.

PM Modi should talk to us: fifteen

After the failure of the fourth round of talks on Sunday, the farmers had made full preparations to march towards Delhi. Today farmers are deployed with JCB and big machines at Shambhu border. Farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher also requested the Center to allow us to protest peacefully. Pandher said that PM Modi should talk to us. Farmers are agitating for many demands including minimum support price.
