Noida: The proposed Dadri-Noida-Ghaziabad Investment Region (New Noida) between Dadri and Khurja will have connectivity with the rail network. Like the ring road around Delhi, an orbital rail project will be built from Palwal to Sonipat. This will include Yamuna Authority, New Noida, Greater Noida Phase-2, Dadri area. It will have an orbital rail network of 4.8 kilometers inside New Noida. At the same time, the orbital rail network will pass through Greater Noida at a distance of about 22 kilometers. Connectivity to the airport will also be provided by connecting the rail line from Chola to Noida International Airport via Rundhi with the orbital rail network. The orbital rail network will also be connected to Dankaur railway station. There will be connectivity with dedicated freight corridor in New Bodaki of Dadri.

This picture regarding Orbital Rail became clear in the NCR Planning Board meeting on Tuesday. This meeting was held under the chairmanship of Commissioner Meerut. The purpose of the meeting was to decide the terms and conditions for preparing the feasibility report of the project. Officials from all three authorities of the district also participated in it. The distance of this entire rail network will be about 135 kilometers. Its network will be 45 kilometers in Haryana and 90 kilometers in UP.

Discussion on connectivity network

According to information received from sources, it was discussed in the meeting how connectivity can be provided to NCR and surrounding cities through this network. Now further feasibility report will be prepared. Preparations have started for the orbital rail network in Haryana. On March 7, the proposal for feasibility study of the Orbital Rail Corridor Project was provided to the UP government by the Haryana Railway Infrastructure Development Corporation. Now further preparations have to be done for UP, hence terms and conditions have to be decided for preparing the feasibility report.

The new Noida master plan has received approval from the board.

The Authority Board has approved the draft of Master Plan-2041 of New Noida. Further the master plan has been sent to the government. Testing is being conducted at Awas Bandhu in the government. The area of ​​New Noida will be around 20 thousand hectares. In this, maximum 41 percent land has been earmarked for industrial use, 11.5 percent for residential, 17 percent for green belt and reactor, 15.5 percent for roads, 9 percent for institutional and 4.5 percent for commercial use. How to achieve development? Payment and other models for land acquisition expenses have not been decided yet. Further work will start here after the approval of the government.
