In the third phase of Lok Sabha elections, today i.e. on 7th May, voting is taking place on 93 seats of 11 states and union territories. Today, voting is taking place on a total of 93 seats including 25 seats in Gujarat, 10 in Uttar Pradesh, 11 in Maharashtra and 14 in Karnataka.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi appealed to voters to vote in record numbers. After this the PM exercised his franchise at Nishan Higher Secondary School in Ahmedabad. Apart from this, Home Minister Amit Shah will also cast his vote at different centers in Gujarat.
Google has also made a doodle on this special occasion. Even before this, Google had made doodles on the day of voting for the last two phases. The name of today's Google Doodle is General Elections of India 2024. The hand of the person who voted is visible in the Google Doodle. There are ink marks on the finger which are applied after casting the vote.
