Worker dies after being hit by truck in Shimla

Shimla, 08 May (HS). A worker has died after being hit by a truck near Dhali Tunnel in the capital Shimla. The deceased was a native of Uttar Pradesh. On Wednesday morning, a truck crushed a laborer walking on the road near Dhali Tunnel under Dhali police station, due to which he died. Seeing the laborer being crushed by the truck, people raised a loud voice, but the laborer was hit by the truck. When the people present at the spot went closer and saw, the laborer was dead. The deceased has been identified as Ohdesh Sahni (48), son of Harihar, resident of village Doomri Chirakutola, tehsil Bhatahad police station Jhugian, district Gorakhpur U.P. Has happened as.

According to the police, he had come here in Dhalli only four months ago and used to work as a labourer. He is married and has two children.

The investigating officer said that a case has been registered on behalf of the deceased's brother Suresh Kumar and further action is being taken.
