According to India Bullion and Jewelers Association, the price of 10 grams of 24 carat gold has increased by Rs 57 to Rs 71,725. An increase of only Rs 2 is being seen in the price of silver today. Now one kilogram of silver is being sold at Rs 81,663 per kilogram. Earlier on May 7, silver was at Rs 81,661 per kg. Akshaya Tritiya is on 10th May this month. Buying gold on this day is considered auspicious.
According to IBJA, gold prices have increased by Rs 8,373 so far this year. On January 1, gold was at Rs 63,352, which has now reached Rs 71,725 per 10 grams. Here the price of one kilogram silver has increased from Rs 73,395 to Rs 81,663.
Today i.e. on Wednesday, an increase in the global prices of gold is also being seen. Global gold futures on Comex are seen trending at $ 2,324.30 an ounce with an increase of 0.05 percent or $ 0.10. At the same time, the global price of gold is currently trending at $ 2,316.56 per ounce. Global prices of silver have increased. On Comex, silver futures were seen trending at $ 27.59 an ounce with an increase of 0.17 percent or $ 0.05. Meanwhile, global prices of silver are seen trending at $ 27.34 per ounce.
