The troubles of air passengers are not decreasing in India. Vistara flights were canceled on a large scale at the beginning of last month. Now Air India Express has canceled 86 flights from Tuesday night to Wednesday morning. 86 international and domestic flights of Air India Express were canceled after 300 senior crew members of the airline went on sick leave. In such a situation, the company does not have the necessary crew members. Therefore, many flights have been canceled at various airports including Kochi, Calicut and Bengaluru.
It is being told that civil aviation officials are investigating the matter to understand the reason for this sudden incident. Meanwhile, reports suggest that Air India Express flights have been canceled due to shortage of staff members, with a section of them calling in sick to protest against the alleged mismanagement at the Tata group airline.
After the cancellation of flights, Air India Express spokesperson said that our cabin-crew has suddenly reported ill on Tuesday night, due to which some flights have been delayed and some have been cancelled. We are communicating with the crew to minimize any inconvenience to passengers. The airline said passengers affected by the flight cancellations will either receive a full refund from the airline or will be able to reschedule their flights at no additional cost. Apart from this, Bilare advised the passengers flying by the airline on Wednesday to contact the airline before reaching the airport.
