Delhi News: Supreme Court reprimands IMA for raising questions on Patanjali

The Supreme Court has now rejected the petition of the Indian Medical Association (IMA), which filed a case of misleading advertisement against Baba Ramdev's company Patanjali Ayurveda. After the court's decision, Ramdev and Acharya Balkrishna personally apologized. After this he also apologized by giving advertisements in newspapers. After this, IMA Chairman Dr. RV IMA had come under the target of the Supreme Court due to the remarks made by Ashok against the Supreme Court in an interview. Speaking on the comments made about allopathy doctors during the hearing, Ashok raised questions before the Supreme Court bench.

Patanjali has now filed a contempt petition against IMA. While hearing the petition, the Supreme Court reprimanded IMA. A new scene was seen in the court room. The same court which till now was tightening its grip on Patanjali also raised questions on the attitude of IMA. The bench of Justice Hima Kohli and Justice Amanullah said that you were raising questions against Patanjali on the issue of misleading advertisements. They are demanding withdrawal of their medicines from the market but what are you doing? IMA's lawyer said that we appreciate the court but the question raised by Ashok is the main point. The lawyer said that the IMA president did not intend to lie about the court. After which the court said that this is not normal. The IMA President has spoken to the media on the case for which the hearing is going on. Not only this, the court said that the reply of IMA's lawyer could not satisfy us.

The IMA President has caused his own loss.

The court said see what harm he has caused to himself. Look, we can give you a chance. Justice Kohli said that one thing should be made clear that the court does not expect to be stabbed in the back. This court has also faced criticism and we are ready for it, but… after which the IMA lawyer asked to give it a chance till the next hearing. He said that the IMA President wants to apologize. He realized that he should have kept his mouth shut. The court said that the way the case will proceed, the court's views will apply to you as much as to Patanjali.
