Sultanpur (UP): Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi appeared in Sultanpur court this morning after postponing his Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra. The matter is related to the defamation case filed by BJP. According to Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh, the yatra resumed at 2 pm.
According to available information, in a press conference in Bengaluru, Rahul Gandhi sharply criticized Union Home Minister Amit Shah and called him a murderer. Therefore, BJP leader Vijay Mishra had filed a defamation case against him. It was said that the entire BJP is also involved with Amit Shah. It was said in that petition that in fact, the special CBI court of Mumbai had acquitted Amit Shah in the fake encounter case in 2005.
Raising this issue, BJP leader Vijay Mishra argued in the court here through his lawyer that Rahul Gandhi had accused Amit Shah in Bengaluru that he is a murderer. I am very sad to know this. Because I have been working for the party for 33 years. I complained about this through my lawyer to the District and Sessions Court, Sultanpur, Madhya Pradesh on August 4, 2018. Filed in. / M.L.A. Filed a case in the court.
Vijay Mishra's lawyer said that if Rahul is found guilty in this case, he can be sentenced to a maximum punishment of two years.
Experts say what is the point of suing Rahul Gandhi after so long? If Vijay Mishra was injured then why was a case not registered immediately? So it seems that BJP is scared of Rahul's proposed Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, first from Kanyakumari to Kashmir and then from Manipur to Mumbai. Therefore, now they want to scare Rahul Gandhi and Congress by doing such cases. But they forget that in this way they are indirectly promoting Rahul and Congress.
