Ranchi, 07 May (Hindus). IPS cum Police Supervisor of Ranchi Lok Sabha constituency Jalinder D Supekar held a meeting with SSP Chandan Kumar Sinha and other senior officials on Tuesday to ensure free, fair and peaceful conclusion of the Lok Sabha elections.
During this, the police observer reviewed the preparations made for the elections. In the meeting, the work being done by the district police during the Model Code of Conduct was reviewed through the police supervisor.
In the course of review, raids were conducted through a joint team of Police and Excise Department against the manufacturing, storage and trade of illegal liquor, raids were conducted against the buying, selling and storing of narcotics and the persons involved in it, the accused were chargesheeted under the Shastra Act. Instructions were given to take action against and preventive action against anti-social elements.
Apart from this, while reviewing the dedicated CCA proposal against active criminals, instructions were given to prepare an action plan against all the criminals within the stipulated period.
