Unemployment and crime against women have reached unprecedented levels in the country: Sonia Gandhi

New Delhi, 07 May (Hindustan Reporter) Former Congress President Sonia Gandhi on Tuesday launched a scathing attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Sonia accused Prime Minister Modi of promoting hatred in the country for political gains. He called on voters to reject the supporters of lies and hatred.

Sonia said that today in every corner of the country, youth are facing unemployment, women are facing atrocities, Dalits, tribals, backward classes and minorities are facing terrible discrimination. He said, “Such an environment is because of the intentions of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP. Their focus is only on gaining power at any cost. He has promoted hatred for political gains.”

The Congress leader said, “The Congress Party and I have always struggled for the progress of all and justice for the underprivileged, as well as to strengthen the country. The Congress and India alliance is dedicated to protecting the Constitution and democracy.”

Sonia said that the sight of our Constitution and democracy being in danger, our poor being left behind and the fabric of our society being torn apart fills me with pain. Today I once again ask for your support. Sonia said, “Our Nyaya Patra and our guarantees are also aimed at keeping the country united and giving strength to the poor, women, farmers, workers and deprived communities.”
