Supreme Court has granted bail to Kejriwal, hearing on the decision on 9th

The Supreme Court has reserved its decision on the interim bail of Arvind Kejriwal, lodged in Tihar Jail in the Delhi liquor scam case. A long hearing took place in the Supreme Court on Tuesday regarding the interim bail of Arvind Kejriwal.

During this, ED and Abhishek Manu Singhvi presented their respective arguments. After hearing the arguments of both the parties, the Supreme Court has reserved its decision on the interim bail of Arvind Kejriwal, although the Supreme Court has given indications of relief. Now on May 9, the Supreme Court can give its verdict on Kejriwal's interim bail.

It was expected that the Supreme Court would give its verdict today. But the Supreme Court bench left without giving any decision on Arvind Kejriwal. The Supreme Court will now hear this case on May 9 and give its verdict.

The Supreme Court said that he is the Chief Minister of Delhi and an elected leader. Elections are taking place. This is an unusual situation. It is not that they are habitual criminals. We will consider hearing the arguments whether he should be released on interim bail or not. Work when you meet. The bench said, 'If you get interim bail and you are the government, it will be a conflict of interest and we do not want that.'

Abhishek Singhvi assured the bench that if Kejriwal gets interim bail in the case, he will not look at any file related to the excise policy scam. ED opposed the Supreme Court's opinion on Kejriwal's interim bail hearing and said that the court cannot create a separate category for politicians.
