Saharsa, 06 May (HS). Voting will be held tomorrow under the third phase of Lok Sabha General Elections 2024. Election Expenditure Observer Ambarish Mishra held a meeting with the Nodal and Assistant Expenditure Observers of the Expenditure Cell on Monday.
After completion of election campaign and voting, it is mandatory for all the candidates to submit details of their expenses. The details of the total expenditure will be prepared by matching it with the consolidated report prepared by the audit team on the basis of the reports submitted by various monitoring teams formed by the expenditure monitoring cell.
There is a maximum expenditure limit set by the Election Commission. All the candidates had to campaign within the prescribed limits. It is the resolution of the Election Commission to ensure that all candidates get fair and equal opportunities and under this, the work of the audit team was reviewed by the Expenditure Observer.
On the occasion, Nodal Officer of Expenditure Monitoring Cell Praveen Kumar, Assistant Nodal Officer, Dadan Kumar Singh, Assistant Expenditure Observers Harimohan Mehta, Awadhesh Jha, Prabhat Ranjan, Neeraj Kumar Singh, besides Tridev Singh, Rajesh Kumar, Rahul Ranjan and Harsh Vardhan were present.
