Secretary Industries presented a copy of the document based on the progress of Global Investors Summit-2023 to the Governor

Dehradun, 06 May (HS). Secretary Industries and Chief Minister's Office Vinay Shankar Pandey met Governor Lieutenant General Gurmeet Singh (Seni) at Raj Bhavan on Monday. During this, a copy of the document based on the progress of Global Investors Summit-2023 was presented to the Governor.

Secretary Industries Pandey said that the Global Investors Summit has provided an important platform for investment in Uttarakhand, which has strengthened the state economically and industrially. He also informed the Governor about the important decisions of last year's conference and shared the plans for the coming years. He said that till now MoUs worth about Rs 71 thousand crores have been implemented on the ground and the process for the remaining works is also in progress.

The Governor praised the leadership and officials of the state for this success and appreciated their hard work. He appreciated the efforts of everyone to promote the social and economic condition of Uttarakhand for investment in various sectors. The way the state government made preparations before organizing this summit was unprecedented. Today we are seeing its results.

The Governor asked Pandey to prepare a team of young officers and technical experts who are inclined towards development and progress, this work will be an important step in the industrial development of Uttarakhand and in strengthening the role of investors in the development of the state. will help

The Governor said that the investors who signed MoUs worth more than Rs 3.5 lakh crore during the Investors Summit are members of our family. He said that all these investors are also our brand ambassadors, hence it is our duty to provide any kind of facilities for them. The Governor said that while increasing the pace of this work, we should contact everyone again and also implement the suggestions received from them.
